"UMID: Umwelt und Mensch – Informationsdienst" provides information twice a year on current topics in the fields of environment and health, environmental medicine and consumer protection. It is published jointly by the Federal Office for Radiation Protection, the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment, the Robert Koch Institute and the German Environment Agency.

It serves to inform authorities and institutions working in the field of environment and health and the public health service, as well as professionals working in the field of environmental medicine and interested citizens. UMID publishes new research results, reports on environmental risk factors and health disorders, recommendations, reviews and event reports.
