Report on Hackathon “hack4health” at the University of Osnabrück, 12 to 16 February 2018 (in German)

he Hackthon "hack4health - Cognitive Computing Hackathon on Epidemiology" was held at the University of Osnabrück from 12 to 16 February with the aim of applying modern methods of machine learning to classical problems of infection epidemiology. The event was jointly organized by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the Institute of Cognitive Sciences (IKW) of the University of Osnabrück and the Health Campus Osnabrück. On the RKI side, Fabian Eckelmann, Stéphane Ghozzi and Alexander Ullrich of Department 31 were involved in data management. The funding came from the BMG-funded third-party project "Signals 2.0".
