The Robert Koch Institute has sectoral libraries in all its locations: in Berlin-Nordufer 20, in Berlin-Seestraße 10, in Berlin-General-Pape-Straße 62 and in Wernigerode.
The library collects literature in accordance with the focal work areas of the Institute. The historical stock from the time of Robert Koch is unique.
Approximately 100,000 stock units, encompassing books and periodical volumes as well as a large number of electronic magazines, are available to staff.
Use by external visitors is possible, but only subject to appointment by phone or email (Library). The library stocks can only be consulted on site. Lending outside the Institute is not possible.
