Risk of cardiovascular disease in Germany: results from GEDA 2022

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Germany. Knowledge of the risk of CVD is important for its prevention. Data from a non-clinical test of the absolute risk of having a first heart attack or stroke in the next ten years are available for participants in the GEDA 2022 study without a diagnosis of heart attack or stroke. In addition, self-perceived CVD risk was asked.
