PHIRI – Population Health Information Research Infrastructure

Logo of PHIRIPHIRI is a roll-out of the research infrastructure on population health information to facilitate and generate the best available evidence for research on health and well-being of populations as impacted by COVID-19. PHIRI will allow for better coordinated European efforts across national and European stakeholders to generate the best COVID-19 population health knowledge.

EHIS – European Health Interview Survey

Die europäische Gesundheits­befragung (European Health Interview Survey, EHIS) ist in vier Themen­bereiche untergliedert: Gesundheits­zustand (nach eigener Einschätzung), Gesundheits­versorgung, Gesundheits­determinanten sowie Hintergrund­variablen zur Demografie und zum sozio­ökonomischen Status. Ziel ist es, möglichst weitgehend vergleichbare Ergebnisse aus den Mitgliedstaaten zu erhalten.

EMERGE – Efficient response to highly dangerous and emerging pathogens at EU level

EMLab – Europäisches Mobiles Labor-Projekt

Logo EMLabDas Europäische Mobile Labor (EMLab) ist ein Speziallabor für hochpathogene Erreger, das in einem Ausbruchsgebiet aufgebaut und betrieben werden kann. Die Labore hat das Institut für Mikrobiologie der Bundeswehr in München konzipiert, die Koordination der Einsätze liegt beim Hamburger Bernhard-Nocht-Institut für Tropenmedizin. An dem Projekt sind Partner aus ganz Europa beteiligt, darunter auch das Robert Koch-Institut.

EuroBioTox

ESTICOM – European Surveys and Trainings to Improve MSM Community Health

EVD-Lab Net – Emerging Viral Diseases-Expert Laboratory Network

Logo EVD-Lab NetEVD-LabNet creates and maintains a (pro)-active and flexible network of European expert laboratories that are involved in patient diagnostics, and that support Public Health activities in liaison with research activities of (re)emerging viral diseases. The network continues the earlier collaboration "ENIVD".

GBD – Global Burden of Disease Studie

The framework of GBD was jointly developed by the WHO, the World Bank and the Harvard School of Public Health in the early 1990s with the aim to permit a first comprehensive and comparable evaluation of population health for all countries of the world. The possibility to compare disease burden over time and between countries provides valuable insights into intervention successes, failures as well as unfinished agendas and can also highlight emerging health threats.

I-MOVE+ – Integrated Monitoring of Vaccines in Europe

Logo of the project I-MOVE+I-MOVE+ has received a grant (May 2015 - Oct 2018) from the European Commission (H2020) to identify, pilot test, use, and disseminate the best study designs to measure, in near real time the effectiveness and impact of vaccines used in the elderly population to prevent influenza and pneumococcal infections.

NoDARS – Northern Dimension Antibiotic Resistance Study

The NoDARS project is designed to provide health-care professionals, authorities and policy makers with comparable data that accurately reflect antibiotic resistance levels and the penetration of antibiotic resistance in the healthy population. The project aims to investigate the levels of specified antimicrobial resistance at the selected locations in Finland, Germany, Latvia, Norway Sweden, Poland and Russia in several separate work packages.

UNISEC – Universal Influenza Vaccines Secured
