Cancer in Germany 2005/2006 Incidence and Trends

The brochure "Cancer in Germany" is published jointly by the Association of Population-Based Cancer Registries (GEKID) and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) every two years. This current 7th edition contains data on the total number of new cancer cases in Germany between 1980 and 2006 and on 21 selected cancer sites (number of new cases and deaths, standardized rates, age distribution, morbidity and mortality risks, risk factors, prevalence, survival prospects, developments over time and international comparisons). Information on cancer in children is provided by the German Children's Cancer Registry in a separate section of the brochure. Note: Here you can download individual chapters of the report.
