Meet the Pioneers of "Digital Epidemiology": New Robert Koch Colloquium Starts This May

This summer, the Robert Koch Institute launches its inaugural Robert Koch Colloquium. The topic of the first colloquium is “Digital Epidemiology”, an emergent, trans-disciplinary research field in public health that integrates traditional epidemiology with the new and rapidly growing research fields of computational social science, computational biology and complexity science. The colloquium will host a set of six internationally recognized speakers that have made major contributions to and pioneered the field of digital epidemiology.

The lecture series starts on May 3rd at the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin-Wedding; the lectures will be held in English.
